Happy New Year! I spent the morning drinking tea and cleaning out my pottery studio before throwing a few vases whilst listening to @arcticmonkeys @suedehq and @sirrodstewart. Just to annoy my husband I brought these beauties inside for a gentle warm up as it’s so damp out in the studio I fear it may take a month for them to be ready to trim and I don’t have a month. I haven’t thrown for ages but it’s my mum’s big birthday in 9 days so I’m planning for the best one to be one of her gifts. #maker #stoneware #potter #handmadevase

Tomorrow we open the doors upstairs at @fredricksdiss for the final three days of Trilogy.

We’ve had a fantastic response but we still have some work left so if you would like to find a unique gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself do take the journey upstairs to see us. We open at 10am until 4pm with stunning stained glass work from Claire Webb and superb paintings from @johnatkinson_artist and I’ll be there from 12-2 tomorrow too. Hope to see you then.

This bowl was fresh out of the kiln last night and already has a new home. I’m rather sad to see him go but I know this lovely lady will take care of him. She’s bought from me before so it’s always extra special when someone makes a repeat purchase. Such a lovely morning at the Trilogy exhibition. Claire is there until 4pm today then we’re back again on Thursday from 10am to 4pm.

What a beautiful day for an art exhibition! The extremely talented @johnatkinson_artist is at Trilogy today which is open from 10am to 4pm upstairs @fredricksdiss in Norfolk House Courtyard in DIss. Three artists in three mediums is a show of local art, it’s free to attend and it’s on next Thursday, Friday and Saturday too. Do walk up the stairs and enjoy a brilliant exhibition and fab views of the town.

If you’re looking for a special gift for someone or just love art and fancy a browse please make time to enjoy the Trilogy exhibition on now. It takes place upstairs @fredricksdiss today until 4pm, then tomorrow 10-4pm and again on Saturday. It’s also open on the 5th, 6th and 7th October.

Claire Webb is working in her pop up stained glass studio there today so do climb the stairs and go say hello. @johnatkinson_artist will be there tomrorow and Claire is back looking after the exhbition on Saturday. I’ll be popping down Saturday afternoon too. I’ve had a few people ask if they can buy something they have seen on my Instagram/FB page so if you would like anything I can arrange to drop it off or you can pick up from my office @splicecreative in town. I have another firing going on later… ❤️

A little sneak peak of some of the work on show by @johnatkinson_artist at the Trilogy exhibition opening this weekend. I love John’s style, his work has so much character and cheer. The tones are just gorgeous. It’s been lovely spending the afternoon with him and Claire Webb setting up for the show. Upstairs at Fredricks is almost ready… do pop along and visit us when you can. John and Claire are there Saturday and Sunday 10-4. They’re also kindly taking care of my pots too 🙏🏻
